Note To Scouts:
Read these guidelines carefully and exercise your creativity. Take
advantage of ideas that are not banned in the above rules.
Day Of The Race:
Arrive on time to assure your car can be inspected in time for the
racing. Cars that don't pass initial inspection will have an opportunity
to fix any problems. Once cars are inspected and impounded they cannot be
touched or lubricated. Races will be double elimination type. Every
car must run in a heat before another heat begins. No one can sit out a
heat. Some cars will advance to the district races.
Other Classes:
Siblings class: Open to all brothers/sisters. Same rules as Cub
Scouts apply. Outlaw Class: open to all. Rule number 3 will be
restricted to 5 oz same as the scouts. Rules 5-11 will be
enforced. Rules 1, 2, and 4 can be altered with practicality in mind
(example: 14" long and 8" wide will not be allowed). Respect
the track.
GOOD LUCK!
